Dopamine Detox Planner
Read this before you start
You cannot actually detox dopamine. It is a neurotransmitter you need for movement, learning and motivation, and scrolling does not deplete it. What this planner builds is a plain 7-day habit-change checklist, one concrete action a day, built from advice this site already sources elsewhere. Nothing more.
Want the plan to stick past 7 days?
Dopa Break turns this same checklist into an ongoing habit, with progressive focus training and forgiving streaks that do not punish a missed day.

Why 7 days and not a longer detox?
Because one-off detoxes rarely last. Small, repeatable daily habits are more effective than a single dramatic reset, and 7 concrete days is enough to try each lever once and see which ones actually help you, without pretending a week rewires anything permanently.
Is this actually a dopamine detox?
Not in the biochemical sense the name implies. You cannot deplete or fast away dopamine, and no single week resets a baseline that was never depleted in the first place. The name is a nod to a familiar trend, not a claim about how any of this works. What actually helps is habit-loop redesign: friction, environment changes, and riding out urges instead of feeding them.
Does anything I answer here get saved or sent anywhere?
No. The whole planner runs in your browser in plain JavaScript. This page makes no network request of any kind while you use it, and writes nothing to storage. Refresh the page and your answers and plan are gone.
